We Have an Announcement
Thank you! Your support has helped us grow from a tiny-in-between-pecan-trees-flower-garden to one of the largest flower farms in the Southwest. The gratitude we feel is immeasurable.
As a family, we’ve taken time this year to reflect on our accomplishments and our aspirations - both for the farm and ourselves. At the top of of our goals list, two themes are universal: Rest and Rejuvenation.
The ground needs tending with cover crops and compost. We need rest to reconnect as a family and to nurture our bodies in the same way we strive to nurture the land. The main ingredient in this formula: Time. Allowing the farm, ourselves, and our crew needed time will enable the rest, tending, and nourishment we seek.
Accordingly, our blooming season will be ending early this year. After July, we will be transitioning into a restful period and allowing the ground (and our team) a chance to rejuvenate.
Come to the farm in July! In light of this announcement, we have filled the month chock full of events and opportunities to join in the wonder-filled experience of Calhoun Flower Farms. Sharing the magic of nature with you fills us with joy and has long been a favorite endeavor. Events are listed HERE!
We’ve answered a few expected questions below:
Will you continue to deliver flowers to local grocery stores?
Yes! We will be continuing deliveries to FARMesilla, Savage Goods, and Whole Foods Market (El Paso) until mid-August.
How can we get Calhoun Flower Farms products before the season ends?
Our products, including candles, soaps, tote bags, dried flower bunches, bath bombs, and lavender sachets will be available at our farm events. You can find products in FARMesilla and Savage Goods.
Will there be Photo Sessions, Group Tours, or U-Picks in August?
Photo sessions are available August 4th & 5th
Group Tour is open for reservations August 26th
Are you still offering wedding and event flowers?
We have limited availability through mid-August 2023. Any fall event with a signed proposal (as of this post) will still be fulfilled.
What will Calhoun Flower Farms be doing in 2024?
So many beautiful things! We are still working on our plans and designs - you will hear about updates here and all the places we post information! One thing we know for sure - we are all about the lavender!
